Weekend at WSTLKE - Dec 27

14 degree photoshoot

This weekend at WSTLKE we were home for the holidays but desperately needed to shoot the content to launch our winter collection. Two things worked exactly in our favor - Upstate New York set the perfect backdrop for our winter sweaters, and our best friends were home and willing to help. Even after they saw shoot day would be 14 degrees...

We shot early Saturday to get everything in before family obligations later that day. Carpenter’s Falls in Upstate New York is a secluded waterfall in a shady ravine, that was almost entirely ice and snow. The paths were treacherous and we had to be bundled up, but made for realistic shots of how we imagine you wearing the sweaters every day - layered, and adventuring. This is one of my favorite parts: ensuring the clothes actually work where they’re meant to be worn.

By Sunday, we were editing content by the fireplace thrilled with the results. The Christmas tree was glowing and snow fell softly outside. My family was all together before going separate ways for New Year festivities. The only thing that could have made the weekend better? The Bills kicking the field goal to beat the Eagles...

What we wore: the Sierra Knit, the Evergreen knit, LAYERS LAYERS LAYERS, Arct’eryx hat
